Microdermabrasion Creams Review
Microdermabrasion is a noninvasive method of mechanical peeling (exfoliation) where the skin is “sand-blasted” using a controlled flow of abrasive particles, i.e. a mild-to-moderate mechanical peel as compared to Dermabrasion. Home microdermabrasion systems are an increasingly popular alternative to professional treatments. These are cheap and very easy to perform, and although not as powerful as professional systems, can produce good results over time. Microdermabrasion creams is the topical exfoliation treatment that mimic the effect of in office procedures. Microdermabrasion creams usually contain the same mechanical particals used in professional “sand- blast” machine in an attempt to mimic the results – although much less powerful but more safer – of the professional procedure. There are some home microdermabrasion kit or device using resurfacing machine or applicator to enhance the resurfacing power of the peeling particles. (see our beauty procedures – microdermabrasion section for more detail).
