Tridecanoic acid (13:0)

Tetradecanoic acid (14:0) (myristic acid) is detergent cleansing agent that also creates foam and can be drying. See “ingredients in cleanser and toner page

Hexadecanoic acid (16:0) (palmitic acid) is detergent cleansing agent that also creates foam and can be drying. See “ingredients in cleanser and toner page

Stearic acid (18:0) (octadecanoic acid) is fatty acid used as an emollient and as an agent to help keep other ingredients intact in a formulation. STEARIC ACID is Surfactant – Cleansing Agent, Emulsifying Agent.

Eicosanoic acid (arachidic acid, 18:0) is a saturated fatty acid found in peanut oil. It is practically insoluble in water, and stable under normal conditions. It is a surfactant and used as an emollient and thickening agent in cosmetics.

Hexadecenoic acid (palmitoleic acid: 16:1) is a monunsaturated fatty acid. Macadamia oil – (One of the most effective anti-oxidants) also has a naturally high (40%) concentration of palmitoleic acid. It’s suitable for all skin types and is particularly good for dry, irritated and mature skin, because it penetrates and hydrates the skin quickly.
